Police say the military council has assigned them and regime troops to carry out the bombings in public places such as markets, buildings, roads, bridges and schools.
The military council intends to publish false information alleging that opposition groups, including the local People’s Defense Force (PDF), are carrying out bombings to destabilize the country.
A police official said the bombings reports had been submitted to the military council which had asked reliable police and soldiers to carry out the bombings.
The military council is trying to make up stories that PDF and the military dissidents are carrying out those attacks with the aim of destabilizing the country, destroying the lives and property of the people and disrupting government mechanisms.
Such kinds of propaganda are broadcast daily on the regime’s propaganda channel MRTV and the military-owned Myawaddy TV channel.
