An executive member of USDP in Kyaikto Township, U Khin Hla was shot and killed in the morning of April 15 in Taung Thu Su Ward, Kyaikto Township in Mon State, according to the locals.
The military-appointed 100-household leader U Khin Hla, was shot dead by the Kyaikto Revolutionary Forces (KRF) while he was at the pavilion in front of his house.
With six bullet wounds, U Khin Hla died on the spot.
The KRF said that a woman and a young man were shot in the arm and forehead in the area when the target was not clear during the attack on U Khin Hla, who was an informant of the military council.
The Kyaikto Revolutionary Forces (KRF) have issued a statement expressing their heartfelt condolences to the woman and youth who were injured in the attack.
Therefore, KRF has appealed to the people not to live close to the junta’s supporters.
The KRF has stated that it will fight until the military dictatorship is overthrown, and that it will continue to target the military council’s stooges, informants, and pillars.
