On April 19, the Palaw Regional Defense Force (PRDF) called for the people to help and participate in their military operations in Palaw Township, Tanintharyi Region.
In Palaw Township, urban guerrilla warfare and clearance operations will be scaled up from April this year, including in rural and urban areas.
Therefore, the public should turn off their CCTV cameras and set them only for shops and homes safety, the PRDF requested.
PRDF warned that people should avoid traveling near areas where the operation could take place, and stay away from the stooges of the coup junta, and those who are trying to get the administration and the junta’s mechanism working.
After the military takeover, battles erupted in Palaw Township between military personnel and the local People’s Defense Force, with high casualties on the junta’s side.
