One civilian injured in blasts at Dawei’s No. 3 High School

A local was injured when bombs exploded in front of No. 3 High School in Tanintharyi Region’s Myauk Ywa Ward of Dawei Township, Locals told Than Lwin Times.

On the afternoon of May 28, two bombs exploded in front of No. 3 High School in Dawei, injuring a three-wheeler driver in the abdomen and body.

The sound of explosions was pretty loud but there is less damage due to fewer pedestrians.

Following the bombing, military forces conducted searches in most parts of Dawei.

The perpetrator of the bombing in front of No. 3 High School is unknown, and the junta has taken no action.

After a military coup in Dawei, the blasts frequently occurred at the regime’s offices.
