A junta vehicle carrying members of military security affairs was hit by an explosion near Kyaung Thit monastery, Myoma Ward 2, in Mon State’s Mudon Township, the Mudon People’s Defense Forces said in its statement.
The car was damaged, and three military personnel were wounded in the attack.
The Mudon PDF said that the attack was Nan Htike Aung mission, and they arrived at their base safely after the operation.
A resident said that after the car bombing, junta troops arrived and took the injured to the Mudong Public Hospital.
After that, the military council conducted inspections in most areas of Mudong Township.
On May 22, the photocopy and printing house of U Min Aung Myint , a member of the junta’s administrative council, was attacked with a bomb and an explosion occurred.
