The People’s Defense Force in Tanintharyi Region’s Palaw Township attacked junta forces three times, including two explosions on August 24.
The PDF Battalion 1 (Myeik District) and allied forces attacked the regime unit stationed at Palawkone village in Palaw Township.
The battle left two junta soldiers dead, and there were no casualties on the PDF side, according to the Palaw PDF.
On the same day, a military convoy leaving Dawei towards Palaw hit two landmines near mile post no. 4 and it is yet unknown if there were any casualties in the attack.
Moreover, a military unit was caught in an attack by the PDF alliance near a bridge in Tabo village, and Than Lwin Times has yet to confirm the death toll.
Since the military takeover, hundreds of PDF groups have appeared all over the nation.
The PDFs have begun to spring up not only in the lower Tanintharyi region but also in central Magwe and northeastern Sagaing regions to topple the military regime.
