Mawlamyine, August (31)
Dr. Aye Zan, the Mon State Chief Minister who was sentenced to 25 years in prison, appeared in court on August 30 for two cases under Section 171(f) of the Penal Code, which the coup council prosecuted again, according to the sources close to the court.
The Union Supreme Court decided to dismiss the entire case on June 29 because those two cases did not have permission from the prosecution organization.
But the military council applied for permission from the prosecuting organization for those two cases and prosecuted again.
