Yangon, 10 February
Fire broke out at a telecom operation office of Myanmar Posts and Telecommunications in Yangon around 10 am on 7 February, cutting its mobile phones and internet services off for some hours after its server was broken down.
The state-owned MPT is under the management of Ministry of Transport and Communications.
The fire started at 10:23 am and was finally contained at 10: 45 pm, according to the report of Myanmar Fire Services Department.
The damage and losses in fire have not been published until 7 February.
