The allied resistance forces attacked the junta force stationed at the Pakaryi police station in Tanintharyi Region’s Dawei Township on February 10, the PDF members told Than Lwin Times.
The Pakaryi police station where about 100 were deployed was attacked by Kawthoolei Army (KTLA), Dawei PDF, and their allies around 3 am.
After the attack, the two sides exchanged fire for almost an hour, and the regime also fired continuously with artillery rounds.
A PDF member said that at least five junta soldiers might have been killed, and one PDF lost his life in the attack.
Due to the fighting, some Pakaryi residents fled the village, and some have been hiding in their homes.
On September 28, junta troops stationed at the Pakaryi police station were attacked by an allied resistance force, killing at least three soldiers.
