Ye , March (8)

The junta checkpoint near Ye Bridge in Mon State’s Ye Township, where martial law had been put in place, was attacked by a drone at around 2 pm on March 7, the residents told Than Lwin Times.

The Ye-based resistance force called Ye Balu launched an attack on the checkpoint where security has been tightened.

After a loud explosion was heard during the attack, gunfire erupted, and ambulances were dispatched to the scene.

It is reported that at least two junta soldiers may have been killed in the drone attack, but Than Lwin Times has not been able to confirm it separately.

The commander of the Ye Balu said on his Facebook account that he used a drone to attack the military regime’s checkpoint near Ye Bridge.

The leader of Ye Blu couldn’t be reached for comment regarding the incident so far.

On February 19, the Ye Balu conducted a similar attack near Ye Bridge, resulting in heavy casualties on the junta side.
