The office of the Revenue Department in Kanthayar Ward, Belin, Mon State, was hit by an improvised rocket, and some buildings were destroyed, the residents told Than Lwin Times.


On April 26, at around 1 a.m., the PDF joint forces fired a rocket at the office of the Revenue Department in Belin Township.
The attack damaged the east facade of the office, including the brick wall in front of the office, and some of the interior of the building, but no one was injured.


A member of the local defense force told Than Lwin Times that the attack was carried out at night as a warning to the revenue office, which is the main source of income for the military council.


According to locals, following the attack on the revenue office, military council soldiers arrived at the office, conducted inspections, and closed and searched several areas of the town.


The Zokethote village administrative office in Belin Township was attacked by mines on February 1, causing the entire office structure to collapse.


Following the military coup, military council members and military informants were frequently targeted in Belin Township, and the military council also prohibited two men from riding on the same motorcycle.
