Causality of military troops was 527, and 801 were injured during armed clashes with People’s Defence Force across the country in April, according to the report of No (1) Military Divisional Command (No.1 MDC) under the Ministry of Defence of National Unity Government.
During a total of 415 conflicts, 39 members of people’s defence force, people’s defencr organization and ethnic revolutionary organizations under No.1 MDC lost their life, and 135 were injured.
The figures were collected from Sagaing, Magway and northern Shan state, which are included in the No.1 MDC. Forty nine arms and a large number of ammunitions were also confiscated from the military in this area.
NUG also reported last month that the military’s death toll in March was 612 in 437 clashes in the same military division.
