Mon party donates K50 m to Arakan Army for cyclone relief works

 The New Mon State party donated 50 million kyat to the Arakan Party for the relief works  in the affected-areas of Cyclone Mocha.

Severe Cyclone Mocha  caused a trail of devastations in many townships of Rakhine state on 14 May.

Led by Chairman Major-General Twan Mrat Naing, the United League of Arakan is carrying out relief and rescue works in the cyclone-affected areas, and they urged local and international well-wishers to provide humanitarian assistance.

Forces of revolutionary allies with Arakan Army and NUG has provided budgets and other relief items

 Meanwhile, the military is spreading information about their relief aid. But the locals said that their assistance has not been effective, said the locals to Than Lwin Times.

The ULA expressed its appreciation to the New Mon State party for the donation to the needy Rakhine people.
