Yangon, 8 June
Yangon Region Military Command of National Unity Government published the military training of its Battalion 5101 of People’s Defence Force.
They are now conducting military operations in jungle warfare together with allied forces, and carrying out urban guerilla attacks in Yangon.
The Yangon Region Military Command said that Battalion 5101 is comprised with well-disciplined and well-trained fighters, and they have received basic and advanced military courses, as well as urban guerilla special course.
The Ministry of Defence under the National Unity Government formed Battalion 5101 of Yangon PDF on 1 June. After announcement on this force, the military regime has tightened security in Yangon.
