Myanmar military’s China-made FAW car crashed into two motorbikes in the opposite lane as it overtook a 6-wheeled truck on the approaching road at the side of Muttama on Thanlwin Bridge (Mawlamyine) on 13 June afternoon.
A man on a motorbike died in the accident.
A local said to Than Lwin Times, “As the motorbike was en route from Mawlamyine to Muttama, it was crashed by the military vehicle. A man riding the motorbike plunged into ravine, and died from broken backbone.”
A soldier on the car was seriously injured in the accident, and reportedly died at the hospital.
