The Arakan Army held a ceremony to mark the completion of its  officer training course which was the first time in Rakhine state on 19 July.

The press release of AA said that the course was attended by 326 trainees over seven months from November 2022 to 19 June 2023, and it was conducted to generate future prospective and qualified leaders for the AA.

The first and second officer training courses were conducted in the control area of its alliance Kachin Independence Army (KIA), and the fourth training course will be launched in early 2024.
