Kyaikto, 15 August
A local woman was wounded in the junta’s indiscriminate attack after local resistance forces carried done attack on a local police station in Kim Mun Chuang Village, Kyaikto Township, Mon State, locals told Than Lwin Times.
The joint force of the Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA) and People’s Defense Force (PDF) dropped bombs over Kin Mun Chaung police station, where regime forces and policemen were being stationed.
The regime troops returned fires indiscriminately in the direction of the drone and the area around the police station.
Daw Thida, 40, who lived near the police station, was injured in the hip and chest in the military’s attack, and she was transferred from Kyaikto Hospital to Thaton Hospital, according to local residents.
Kin Mun Chaung police station has been attacked at least eight times, resulting in the police station being burned, several buildings being destroyed, and some soldiers being injured or killed.
