Muse, 15 August

Pro-junta militia group arrested four civilians in Muse township, northern Shan state, and killed one of them, according to the report of Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA).

The victims were arrested for being suspects of TLNA members, and were tortured without providing foods for two days. Among the four civilians, a 24-year-old man was killed, and the remaining three persons were dropped in blindfolds at debris pile near Manmine village.

Pro-militia groups have tortured the locals in Maisat and Mankat villages after clashes between TNLA and the military in late July and early August.

The TNLA reported that the military junta is committing human rights violations against civilians in the areas where fighting breaks out or not.
