Attack on a police station in Khale Tagon Daing village in Kyainseikgyi Township, Karen State, killed four soldiers, reported the Karen National Union (KNU) on 18 August.

The KNLA joint forces attacked a police station, where more than 40 junta soldiers and policemen were stationed around 11 a.m. on 15 August.

According to the statement, four junta personnel were killed in the conflict, and the number of injured is being investigated. There were no losses or injuries on the KNLA side.

The Khale Tagon Daing police station is located in Win Ye Township, Dooplaya District, Brigade 6, in the Kawthoolei area of KNU. Since the coup, the junta army and police have had to provide security for his camp.

The Khale Tagon Daing police station is often ambushed by the KNLA joint force with heavy weapons, small arms and snipers, with the junta suffering heavy losses.
