A police outpost in Yin Nyein village in Mon State’s Paung Township was under drone attack on 7 September evening, locals confirmed to Than Lwin Times.

The allied resistance forces launched two drone attacks on the Yin Nyein police outpost, one about 4 p.m. and another at 4:30 p.m.

A bomb landed in a police station and exploded, but the extent of the damage remains unknown.

After the police outpost was attacked, the regime forces fired indiscriminately with small arms, causing panic among the locals.

On 27 August, the joint forces of the revolutionary forces attacked the administrative office and police station in Paung Township with a drone.

On 21 August, the military council’s Minister of Home Affairs Lt. Gen. Yar Pyae admitted that the use of unmanned drones by revolutionary forces could be a challenge in the future.
