Kalay, 11 September
More than 2,000 residents were evacuated after heavy rainfall flooded Kalay township, Sagaing region.
Locals said to Than Lwin Times that the residents from lower land area of Taungphilar, Aung Thitsar, Aungmingalar, Tarhan, Taungzalet, Indinegone, Myohla, Taungtha, Letpanchaung, Chanmyaeaungsi and Kyothonepin wards due to heavy rainfall that began on 7 September.
