Yebyu, 26 September

Leader of ‘Ramanya Army’ in Mon state was shot dead on 24 September morning.

Locals said that he was shot by gunmen with motorbikes on his way back to Marotchai Ywathit village from Alalsakhan village in Yebyu township around 9 am, and his body was buried in Ywathit village.

Any group has not claimed for the attack  yet.

Earlier Nai Chai wrote on his social media an assassination attempt to him near Manaung village of southern Ye township, on 31 May.

 His ‘Ramanya Army’ abandoned local militia group, and operated nearby areas of Yebyu township.
