Kokang, 17 October

A total of 16 junta soldiers were killed and seven were injured in armed conflict between the military council troops and Kokang armed group in Shan state, according to the report of The Kokang media.

The battle took place on 14 October, and almost the entire military column were killed, the report said.

The junta troop from Battalion 335 under 12th Military Operations Command brought a civilian guide to an outpost of Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army, and the fight occurred bout 5 meters from the outpost.

The MNDAA confiscated 10 rifles, 60-mm launcher, hand-held launcher, 14 magazines, 218 bullets, one transmitter, one mobile phone, one satellite and other military devices.
