Nattalin, 20 October
Joint resistance forces of Tharyarwadi district in Bago region ambushed a military column that used human shield to Nattalin township, killing six soldiers, according to Bago PDF.
Battalion 3801 of People Defence Force and Company 2 of Phoenix DF conducted the attack to the column three times on 17 October.
The military troops forcibly brought families of elephant camp and 18 elephants being used for their shields.
Not to hit elephants and the families, the resistance forces could not conduct all-out attacks, and some persons would be injured in the ambush. But no one of resistance forces was injured.
As conflict is likely to intensify, the resistance forces have warned the residents to stay away from the military troops.
