A man’s body was discovered beaten to death in a ravine by the road near Inn Phyar Village in Mon State’s Belin Township, locals confirmed to Than Lwin Times.

The body of a 30-year-old man who had been beaten and died of injuries was found by passers-by around 2:00 p.m. on October 30.

Social rescue teams collected the unidentified man dead with lacerations on his head.

The body has been kept at Belin Hospital, and the name and address of the deceased are not yet known.

However, as of the evening of October 20, the deceased’s identity was still unclear, and as no family members had arrived, he was reported to be cremated at Belin cemetery.

When the deceased was discovered, he was wearing only shorts and no shirt, and there was no record of him.

During the Mon State coup, the rule of law was weak, looting and killings were common, and the perpetrators were mostly still at large.
