Kyainseikkyi, 4 November

The revolutionary forces lost two comrades, including the deputy battalion commander in the battle that raided Kyainseikkyi in Karen State, reported the Saw Dragon Drone Force (SDDF) on 3 November.

On November 2, the joint forces of Lion Battalion Commando Column, Galon Column, and Saw Naga Drone Force (SDDF) launched an offensive against military bases and camps in Kyainseikkyi.

The junta army responded with heavy weapons and MI-35 helicopters, killing two comrades, including deputy commander of Lion Battalion Saw Lar, and some comrades sustained injuries, according to the statement.

The number of casualties among regime troops is under investigation.

The junta army used air strikes and artillery shelling during the battle, and some civilians were killed or injured.

Meanwhile, the allied resistance forces attacked the military regime’s Kwee Lon Taing camp in Kyaikdon Town, near the Thai-Myanmar border, in the KNU Brigade 6 area.

The 3rd Sniper Platoon of Special Operation Group (SOG) also reported that a comrade lost his life in the operation.

The joint forces of the KNU also launched attacks on Kwee Lon Taing and Walley’s Ka Ne Lay military outpost on Thai-Myanmar border, including Kyainseikkyi, on 2 November.
