Namkham , 4 November
The Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) announced that it attacked and captured the military camp at the Ruil (Shweli) bridge connecting Namkham township in northern Shan State and Mangwein-gyi at around 7:00 am on 3 November.
TNLA attacked and occupied the junta camp No. (423) of Infantry Battalion stationed at Shweli Bridge as part of Operation 1027.
After the raid on the outpost, four guns, 30 (60MM) grenades, 8 RPG bombs, 50 grenades, ammunition and military equipment were seized from the junta camp, according to the statement.
When the military camp was attacked and occupied, the military conducted three airstrikes according to the TNLA statement.
However, the TNLA has not mentioned the casualties of the junta forces in the battle.
