Ye, 28 November
The allied revolutionary forces used small unmanned aerial vehicles to bomb junta troops who were laying in ambush in Taung Chun Gyi and Wat Taung villages in Mon State.
The drone force dropped six 60-mm mortar shells on the regime forces on 25 November.
The explosions killed some regime troops, said an official from the Daw Na column.
Five junta soldiers were reportedly killed in the attack, but the situation on the ground is under investigation, according to the revolutionary forces.
The Daw Na column, the Mon State Revolutionary Force (MSRF), the All Burma Students’ Democratic Front (ABSDF), Ye Air Force (YAF), and the Tavoy People Liberation Force (Tanintharyi-TPLF) jointly launched this mission, which lasted one and a half hours.
The battle that took place on October 20 in Ye claimed nearly 40 junta soldiers, and the junta was then laying in ambush along Ye’s mountainous regions.
According to locals, the military regime increased security in Ye in response to reports of possible attacks of resistance fighter on the town, prepared defenses, and conducted searches.
