Film actor Min Yarza, who is serving 25 years of sentence in prison for child rape, is leading in beating and torturing political prisoners in Insein Prison, the prisoners’ family members told Than Lwin Times.
He led the gangs in torturing new political prisoners in dormitory 4 of Insein Prison.
They were scolding and beating by saying, “Are you political prisoners? We don’t care about any of you!” a family member of a political prisoner told Than Lwin Times.
Some political prisoners were injured and Than Lwin Times has not confirmed details about it.
The prison authorities under the military council have appointed him as a level-2 prisoner who has got some favors from officials.
