Demoso, May (29)
Three displaced children in the western part of Demoso, Kayah State, died of diarrhea due to a lack of timely medical treatment, the rescue workers said.
The displaced children are suffering from mass diarrhea because they cannot get purified drinking water.
Three children died of diarrhea this May, and on May 26, an eight-month-old baby died.
Refugee children, on the other hand, suffer from malnutrition due to insufficient food.
Following the military coup, violence broke out between the military council and the PDFs in Kayah State, with over 200,000 locals fleeing to shelters and refugee camps.
