Karenni, 12 October
Public security course was conducted in Karenni military command to People’s Defence Force under Ministry of Defence of National Unity Government in the last week of September,
The course covered the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the International Humanitarian Law and the Code of Conduct. It was attended by officials of Public Security Department and security officers of battalion, together with members of People’s Defence Force.
The course included formation, organizational structure and functions of People’s Defence Force, as well as practical training on designation of specific military targets.
