The drone attack on the office of the Theinzayet General Administrative Department in Mon State’s Kyaikto Township could result in many casualties., according to local residents and revolutionary forces.
On November 7, at around 11:30 p.m., the office of the General Administration Department of Theinzayet Town was celebrating its 35th anniversary, when the revolutionary forces dropped two bombs on the office with a drone.
According to the revolutionary forces, one bomb exploded on the office’s roof and another near the office’s entrance.
The revolutionary forces claimed that one person was killed and 10 were injured in the attack on the office, but Than Lwin Times has not yet been able to independently confirm it.
Another local said that two staff and a gas stationer owner arrived at Theinzayet Hospital in the drone attack on the office and the injured were transferred to Yangon Hospital.
Regarding the matter, Than Lwin Times contacted Mon State Council’s Spokesperson Dr. Aung Myat Kyaw Sein for comment, but he did not respond.
Following the office attack, the junta Artillery fired heavy weapons into Tanaw Kyun village in Waw Township, killing four residents and injuring seven others.
