The young man was shot dead for no reason in Kalonethar village in Tanintharyi Region’s Yebyu Township, the locals told Than Lwin Times.
On August 16, the junta forces stationed at a school in Kalonhtar village opened fire on a 19-year-old young man on a motorbike who passed by the school.
The regime forces that killed Ko Than Zin Htwe were stationed at the school in Kalonhtar since August 14.
Those forces are firing heavy weapons into the farmland and orchards of nearby villages on a daily basis.
Most of the locals residing there have fled the areas because of the junta’s mortar shelling.
The regime’s massive forces have been searching for the PDF members in the forests in Yebyu since the first week of August.
