U Aung Htwe Khaing, the campaigner of the Union Solidarity and Development Party (USDP), was shot and killed in Pyinkadoe village in Mon State’s Kyaikto Township around 11 am on January 19, the locals told Than Lwin Times.
The USDP campaigner U Aung Htwe Khaing, who lived in Mayanchaung village, was shot dead in his rubber farm in Pyinkadoe village.
U Aung Htwe Khaing aged 56 was shot in the head and died on the spot.
His dead body was taken to the Kyaikto hospital by family members and relatives.
According to local residents, U Aung Htwe Khaing is a member of the electricity supply committee of Mayanchaugn village and has been collecting electricity bill since the military seized power.
