Gangaw, 6 April
Local resistance forces raided a police post in Gangaw Township, Magway region, on 31 March.
The attack was jointly conducted by local battalions 1, 7, 11, 12, 14, 19, ABSDF, Hyper UAV Force and people defence forces around 6 o’clock in early morning.
The local forces seized weapons and ammunitions from the police post, and set ablaze to 75 percent of it. About 45 junta troops were killed and more than 10 were injured in the attack.
However, the joint resistance forces failed to control the post although they tried for it four times due to seven airstrikes of military and deployment of reinforcement by Mi-17 helicopter.
The local resistance forces said that they could seized 4 G-3 guns, G-4 (1), 4 magazines , two bombs, two walkie-talkies , seven phones, 1 laptop, 1 knife, Kyat 608,000 and other personal items.
In retaliatory attack, the military bombed over residential areas, forcing over 10,000 civilians from five villages to flee from their homes.
Two members of resistance forces were killed, and nine members got minor injuries, while one comrade lost his leg.
