Yangon, 11 March
Two marijuana cookie makers were arrested in Yangon on 8 March, according to the reports of junta-controlled media.
The two suspects were Het Yadana Oo, aged 24, who lives in 16th street on Ward 7 in Lamdataw Township, and Zaw Lin Naung, aged 1, living Bahosi Housing Estate at Ward 1 in the same township.
They sold each cookie online from K6,000 to K10,000 .
A source close to Yangon Police Force said to Than Lwin Times that officials are preparing a prosecution against them, and he has no authority to mention the specific charge.
Various kinds of narcotic drugs are easily available at bars and nightclubs in Yangon since the military coup, but they have not taken action against it.
Those close to the military are reportedly consuming these narcotic drugs.
