More than 15 junta soldiers killed in Kyaidon armed clashes

More than 15 soldiers were killed, and many of their troops were injured in the armed clashes in Kyaidon town of Kawkareik Township, in Kayin state on 25 and 26 March.


The Lion Battalion Commando Special Forces, which took part in the offensive attacks, issued a statement that the joint guerrilla forces carried out attacks on Light Infantry units 545 and 546, as well as its border guard force and police camps.
Three guerrilla members lost their lives in the fight which was also assisted by Karen revolutionary forces and people defence forces.
