Myanmar junta media reported on 10 May that they will manage to issue licenses to reduce and
misuse illegal possession of arms and ammunition.


The report said that applicants will not be asked how they got the gun, but the arms and
ammunition must also be submitted in application process
The junta said that the movement is aimed to reduce worries of people who are
illegally carrying arms and ammunition for their personal security.


License will be granted to those who meet the rules and policy of carrying arms and
ammunition, and those who failed to follow this process will face legal actions.
