The regime troops conducted aerial bombing on Sanpahlar village in Kudon village tract in Kawkayeik Township under KNU Brigade 6, according to the information team of Dooplayar District.
The statement said that an aircraft from the Nay Pyi Taw Air Force dropped a cluster bomb into the village of Sanphalar village in Kawthoolei administrative area at around 2:00 a.m. on June 6.
Two bombs exploded on the Sanphalar village’s primary school campus, destroying the school window, door, roof, side wall, ceiling, chalkboard, school pillar, drinking water pot, and fans.
In addition, 10 bombs exploded in the area west of the school, and another bomb exploded, hitting four neighboring villagers’ houses and some fruit trees.
A resident said that the military council deliberately targeted civilians and bombed Sanphalar village in Kawkayeik Township when there was no fighting. Although the local people were not harmed, the school was hit and then closed because the students did not dare to go to school.
In Kawkayeik Township, the junta forces are excavating and destroying the roads used by the local people with machines, and they are often firing into the villages with heavy weapons, bombing with airplanes, and conducting reconnaissance.
