Yangon, 7 June
Myanmar military’s propaganda media outlets reported the death of their supporter pop female singer at 5 am on 6 June at the intensive care center after she got gunshot injury.
Lily Naing Kyaw was shot in front of her house in Yankin Township, Yangon, on 30 May. She was undergone medical treatments at the military hospital.
Win Maw, the lead guitarist from Shwe Thansin music band, said to the propaganda media, “Share the message that Lily Naing Kyaw has died around 5 am this morning.”
Ko Pho Pyae who lives at a dormitory in Hledan area of Kamayut Township, Yangon, was arrested in suspect for killing the female singer.
Member of pro-military Patriotic Association of Myanmar (Ma Ba Tha) has requested for arms to the junta after their prominent activist Tin Lwin and Lily Naing Kyaw were killed. Some criticized the military chief for his failure to protect them.
