Mawlamyine, 23 June
Four military affiliates were arrested between Ye and Thanbyuzayet townships on No.8 Union Highway of Mawlamyine-Ye-Dawei section in Mon state, where joint forces of Karen National Liberation Army, local People Defence Force and Special Operation Force have been inspecting since 18 June, according to the report of Ministry of Defence under the National Unity Government, adding that actions will be taken against the four suspects.
The joint resistance force has requested the public for cooperation in the inspections along No.8 Union Highway.
