Military’s airstrike over Hnitkayin village in Ye township, Mon state, reportedly killed one civilian and four injured, said locals to Than Lwin Times.

In retaliatory attack, the military used helicopters and heavy weapon shelling after the local resistance forces raided police outpost in Hnitkain village around 11 am on 25 June.

The locals remarked that the death toll is expected to increase.

“We have not done rescue works until now due to severe attacks, and more causalities were reported in nearby area, “ said a local.

Than Lwin Times is trying to report more details about these attacks.

On 24 June night, the military camp near Thetkaw-Three Pagoda Pass launched heavy weapon shelling to Sakhangyi village in Thanbyuzayet after they accused that KNU entered there. A 60-year-old woman was killed in the attack.
