Myanmar junta troops set fire set fire to houses of civilians in June, according to the report of Ministry of Home Affairs and Immigration under the National Unity Government.

 The highest number of arson attack occurred 79 times in Sagaing region, destroying 2,511 houses and burned nine persons alive.

Moreover, 77 houses were burnt down in three times of arson attack in Magway region, 10 houses in two times in Mandalay region, 10 houses in two times in Kachin state, 40 houses in two times in Shan state and 14 houses in five times in Tanintharyi region.

Three schools and four religious buildings were set fire in these incidents.

The figures were collected from the reports of independent media, civil society organizations and public in the affected areas, and the numbers are expected to be higher than the reports.
