Kanpetlet, 21 July
Nineteen soldiers were killed during the fighting between the military troops and the local Chin Defence Force-Kanpetlet.
The CDF (Kanpetlet) reported that clashes occurred near Swalelkyin and Maswatwi villages from 16 to 19 July, and three members of their force were also injured.
In retaliatory attack for the loss, the miliary carried out airstrike on Maswatwi village, destroying a church and houses.
