Minhla, 15 August
A vehicle carrying junta soldiers were attacked by Company 5 of Tharyawadi district Battalion 3802 on 13 August.
Attack occurred around 11 am when the military mobilized its troops on Kharchin mountain pass in Minhla township, Bago region. The attack caused explosion of fuel tank, killing one soldier and some were injured. The military exchanged grenade attacks in retaliation.
Local resistance forces have prohibited motorcars from using Bago Yoma pass in Letpadan, Minhla and Okpo townships since 6 August.
