A woman was seriously injured in a landmine blast in Mayangon village in Belin Township, Mon State, on 13 August morning, locals confirmed to Than Lwin Times.

Daw War War Nu, 50, from Mayangone village, was walking to her farm near the village at about 8:00 a.m. on 22 August when she was injured by a landmine.

After stepping on a land mine, Daw War War Nu suffered a ruptured left ear and wounded at her arm, hip, and thigh from landmines.
