Yangon, 11 September
An armed group carried out a rocket attack on Yangon Region Government’s Office in the regional parliamentary compound on 9 September.
A source close to regional police force confirmed the attack that occurred around 4 am.
“The attack occurred with some injures, but there was no causality,” the source confirmed, without mentioning the details.
Resistance forces have earlier stated that they would carry out attacks to stop administrations, military and businesses of military council.
The parliamentary compound has been under three attacks—in November 2022, May 2023 and 9 September 2023.
