People’s Defenc Force in Moebye township warned locals not to use the road that connect wards in Mobye township to the major road between Moebye and Nanmaekhon in Karenni state.
The warning of Moebye PDF on 20 September said that the military has planted landmines in Moebye downtown and the major road as they left their camps in Karenni.
Some school children were killed in landmine explosions in Moebye in 2022.
