Paungde, October 10
A leader of pro-military Pyusawhtee militia was shot dead in his village of Paungde township, Bago region, at 12 noon on 7 October.
The assassination was carried by Spring Team under Company 5 of Paungde People’s Defence Force.
He had completed military training before he was killed. He facilitated the station for military troops in the town, and guided the ways to the PDF camps.
Bago PDF has warned that punitive actions will be taken against Pyusawhtee members.
