The local authorities and regime forces cordoned off two houses in Durinseik village in Mon State’s Thaton Township on October 29, said locals.

Two houses in Wards No. 2 and No. 3 in Durinsiek village were sealed off by the Thudamawaddy police force and administrative officials around 10 a.m. on October 29 October.

Ma May Thingyan, Ko Win Thu Aung, Ko Nay Lin Oo, Ko Yan Lin Aung and Ko Aye Hlaing from Durin Pey Village were allegedly accused of violence, and their homes were sealed off by the military council.

According to locals, the houses had been emptied following the military coup.

Than Lwin Times has attempted to reach residents whose homes were closed, but they haven’t yet replied.

Following the coup, the army sealed off at least 20 local houses, including Hluttaw representatives, on terrorism charges.

The Assistance Association for the of Political Prisoners (AAPP) announced in the last week of April this year that at least 800 homes across the country were sealed off during the coup.
